Abigail is a sweet girl that needs time to feel safe. She came into rescue from an extremely high kill shelter, and we are trying to find Abby her best family ever! She did get adopted at the shelter originally, but the adopters did not give her enough time to feel comfortable. She was nervous at their house, and she reportedly bit the adopter. This occured in the first 1 hour of her being home, as the adopters were attempting to pull some mats off of her fur. She needs an adopter that understands the term "go slow". Abigail bonds to one person. She would do best in a female home that does not have many visitors or are willing to separate her when others are present. She is very protective of her owner and bonds to one person. She is currently working on this, but we are searching for a special adopter that can safely manage her "owner guarding" behavior. Abigail is a sweetheart with her one owner!!!
